Condé Nast Traveler's 10th annual "Hot List" issue

Conde Nast Traveler's 10th annual "Hot List"The insider's global guide to the hottest hotels, restaurants, spas, and nightclubs that opened in the past year, features Hyatt Grand Aspen as one of only two Colorado properties to make its list (See a list of 15 U.S. properties that made the list below.)

To develop the ‘Hot List’ the magazine's editors checked out hundreds of new properties around the world, rigorously evaluating each one on a standard set of criteria. The result is a definitive guide to the world's most exciting new establishments.
The ‘Hot List’ features 130 new hotels and resorts, 82 new restaurants, 25 new nightclubs and for the first time, 55 hot new spas whose design, service, location, (and, if appropriate, food) transcend industry standards. Conde Nast Traveler's editorial staff sifted through the sea of properties that opened in the past year, and called upon a global network of editors and field reporters to visit each one.

Hyatt Grand Aspen opened Christmas 2005 as the first purpose-built luxury fractional ownership opportunity in downtown Aspen with every room in the resort designed with luxury buyers and their needs in mind.  The quality and luxury of the physical property as well as the level of service provided is indicative of what guests find at the finest Hyatt properties around the world.   Each unit boasts an elegant mountain style with stone entryways, marble and granite finishes, multiple fireplaces, gourmet kitchens with premium appliances, spa tubs and steam showers. Common space amenities include a heated outdoor swimming pool with a year-round heated deck, outdoor hot tubs and a fitness center overlooking the pool.

The 130 hotels and resorts on this year's Hot List were selected from 54 countries on 6 continents.
